What We Do

The Mountain Plains AIDS Education & Training Center (MPAETC) is one of 12 regional AETCs funded nationwide by a grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration through the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act.

What does the MPAETC do?
  • Provide educational programs about HIV infection for healthcare professionals
  • Offer hands-on, clinical training at patient care sites
  • Provide timely updates to health care professionals on HIV-related treatment and care issues
  • Serve as a resource for health professions schools
